Joseph Barnett began selling his photographs in 1961.
After completing four years in the Air Force and finishing college, he started his company in 1972 and eventually hired 15 people. Joseph sold his photographs to almost every major department store in the United States and some in Europe. He makes a full time living from his work and has a home gallery (open by appointment) in Kennebunk, Maine.
Joseph’s photographs have been exhibited in the E.B. Crocker Museum, the Oakland Museum, the North American Exposition, and are in many private collections. His photographs have been published in US Camera, Popular Photography, Modern Bride, Ideal Books, B&W Magazine, Studio One, Focus Magazine, Sellers Publishing Company, and the cover of Ocean Avenue Magazine.
